EXPERIENCE

hk imagery. Owner, Photographer. Miami, FL/Houston, TX.  November 2006 – present.
Lead Photographer:
    -  Photograph commercial products, for catalog and promotional use. Products include reflective surfaces such as jewelry  
   and metallic objects, as well as perishables, such as tropical fruit. Layout includes pure white backgrounds, or creative  
   display of objects.

-  Create travel images for commercial and editorial use.
-  Shoot images of nature for editorial, stock and fine art.
-  Create documentary images and multimedia projects for photo essays, editorial use, scientific research and reports.
Photo Editor: Edit, crop, and re-touch images where needed. "Airbrush" portraits, correct images for color and  exposure,  
      other advanced photo manipulation.

Production Designer:  Design business cards, website and other promotional materials. Create multi-media  presentations.
Sales and Client Consultation: Meet with prospective clients, follow-up on leads, market website, create newsletter,  maintain
      mailing list.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Miami, FL/ Cockpit Country, Jamaica. Jan. – Sept. 2006.
Photographed scientists in action, and rare plants of remote regions of Jamaica on a National Geographic funded expedition. Photographed tropical plants (including gingers, heliconias, bananas) to be included in the Fairchild plants database, on their website and for publication in The Tropical Garden.

Fruit & Spice Park. Homestead, FL. January 2005 – January 2006.
Photographed park events for inclusion on website and in brochures. Photographed exotic tropical fruits when in season. Scanned and edited slides. Created multi-media presentations.

District Lab. Production Assistant. Miami Beach, FL. August – December 2005.
Took orders for specialized projects, including oversized prints, custom finishing and complex photo packages. Took orders for Photoshop re-touching. Ensured quality control of final products.
